Day 27 I left Ainaži, crossed 5 min later the border and entered Estonia. Most of the wooden houses along the road looked well-kept and I no longer saw rubbish at the border of the road outside the villages (what I previously had to deplore in Poland and Latvia).
Later the quiet coastal road with the EV 10 rejoins the Via Baltica with its heavy traffic and there is no other option to cycle to Pärnu.
I arrived in Pärnu around 2pm and stopped at one of the many restaurants for lunch. Then I crossed the Pärnu River and cycled the last 30 km to my WS host Aimar. I had some difficulties to find his house, but as all asked persons were not able to help me, I contacted him via WS message and I quickly received the missing information.
Aimar is an easy-going, open-minded person. He speaks fluently english and has a great experience in traveling abroad with his students (he is a teacher). We had interesting discussions and I learned a lot about Estonia. It was passed midnight as we finally decided to get some sleep.
